The Re-Loads are expensive but in my opinion worth every cent if you regularly use them. Should be able to get them from an electrical wholesaler or online.
I think it's because of places like bunnings offering swaps after 7 days / refunds which are not required by law everyone else seems to be expecting it elsewhere.
It's a common term here, most retailers will say similar and most Australian's don't get offended by it. It's like sir in the US.
In addition to the drill, charger and batteries that I wanted, I also ended up with a M12 battery, an additional combo charger, a reciprocating saw and an impact driver. Not bad to get all that additional stuff and pay $100 less than I expected! I know it was a Milwaukee promotion and not one by Sydney tools, but it was nice that Luke helped me to get as much stuff for free as possible.
Makes me think they are grey importing. Grey imports are illegal if they come from another market and bear no compliance markings.
Saying that, FORCE tools from Taiwan might be a good balance between price and quality. It's $150 for the whole metric ROE set up to 32mm, which is very reasonable. The design is kind of a copy of Gedore.
All a bit odd when looking at power tools in Australia and particular a dust extraction for $299 with 2 motors , and when I saw the Made in PRC on the box I ask the rep what that means.

I did not want a store credit and quoted Consumer Law that I was entitled to choose a refund. Apparently this would require further mananagement approval. (I must be at the board level by now).

Dude the box literally had the air compressor and a lot of space to move around. There was nothing to protect it inside apart from 2mm thick cardboard. Even if I got insurance during postage, post companies have a min requirement that the packing ensures safety during transit.
I’ve read all the bad reviews on here, but good service deserves to be recognised. As long as the price is right, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again.
Could I also suggest doing a google search for ATO and the director's names, see what comes up, definitely more interesting reading to be had.
